LS7? thats like 12 grand. You can probably pickup a LS1 & T56 for 2500 - 3k used of course. Those HP people if I remember right the guy who runs it built that 1500RWHP Supra and the Supra people say dude is shady.

well then it looks like HP is out.

However, swapping seems like so much more work than I am looking to get into right at this moment.

Here ya go, on an L98 camaro:

http://www.kennedysdynotune.com/camaro%20L98.htm

http://vettenet.org/300hpl98.html

http://www.modexotics.com/dev/car_de...age=191110&v=1

could find helpful hints or some ideas here. Forget the above mentioned, procharger yeilds some very good results. A friend used a procharger P1SC on stock boost w/ meth injection and a blower cam on a 1998 SS LS1 camaro and made 587 RWHP and 540 RWTQ....Stock boost !!!! Eat that 03/04 cobra. Even w/ 10.1:1 compression.

I think its pretty clear what camp im in. How else are you going to get:

* +100 rwhp, 160 lbs/ft of tq
* 10 mph in the 1/4 a pretty
* retain stock reliability and fuel economy

on much stock car $500??

Obviously you have never heard owned nor ridden in a built car WITH nitrous. The sound from a motor with a big cam on the squeeze is so pure and intense. Look at any of TRMIN8TRs vids.

Your car's fuel injected right? I think direct port is the safest.
