What’s up? This is my first post on these forums, but I’ve been checking out the place for almost a month now, and love it.
I was wondering what kind of performance difference I can see from upgrading my camshaft. This is the camshaft that I ordered: -Gen III/LS1/LS6 350 Extreme RPM XR269HR Cams -Part #: 54-414-11 Comp Cam -HYDRAULIC ROLLER-Great mid-range with superior top end power. Need computer modifications. -Cam Specs: http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Se...mber=54-414-11 Any rough estimates? |

well 1 thing who cares about Gas Milage.
The typical Heads, Cam, Intake still gets a 20+ MPG and capable of 11's very low 12's as is. LS1's have been dynoing between 380-410 hp w/ cam and intake alone. You picked a very good cam except they should call it the "346" Extreme RPM ![]() |

Good stuff Shaggy, thanks for the info.
BTW its for a 2003 Silverado with a supercharger already pushing 430hp (aint got it dyno'ed yet, so thats a rough estimate from all my addons).I'll be posting pictures as soon as maybe tomorrow. Should have a video done soon. Last edited by Cam51; 21 Jun 2004 at 07:01 pm. |
