new to this bare with me. I recently got a new gixxer 1000, after a hundred miles I canged the oil replaced with repsol 10/40 semi synthetic shortly after the clutch started to make a honking noise only when you try to go from a stop. At 800 miles changed the oil again with same brand, notified suzuki and finally took the bike in. I explained the problem to suzuki and left the bike, he told me his rep told him to take the clutch apart soak in oil and reassemble the clutch. At the same time I asked if it was ok to switch to a motul 15/50 full synthetic he said that would be fine so I did well they did. got the bike back was ok for a week now the problem is back, this honking noise is now stalling the engine from time to time and is periodic and annoying

Take it back to Suzuki. MAKE them fix or replace the clutch assy. Be firm, you just paid alot of money for something that does not work. Dont try to fix it.....HAVE SUZUKI TAKE CARE OF IT!!!!!!
If its stalling the engine, its a a safty issue and Suzuki doesnt want to be sued by you for the defective product, when you crash your new bike. MAKE Suzuki fix it.... No ifs, ands or buts. DO IT.
