Ive heard of a 350 short block and a 350 long block,how much different are these blocks,which one commonly came in cars? Could one handle more hp and torque?

thats talk of crate motors, aka new motors, a short bloch comes with the complete bottom end, basicly everything thats in side the block, crank, rods, pistons, cam, a Long block is just about a complete motor intake to oilpan, with the exception of pullys
