I have a friend with a 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse with a engine light on in his dash panel. He doesn't have the owners manual and would like to know what the light means. It is a semi-box (yellow) with vertical lines in it. I suggested it was a low coolant light, but am not for sure. any help would be good.

Yes Sir, its the coolant light. The light is triggered by the overflow reservoir.
