I dont think its more of a rotary wannabe its more of a boxer wannabe because it still works like a Flat Engine. The only difference is the camshaft changed into this wankel like thing. Also under reasoning I wouldnt be suprise if Mitsubishi and Lotus will be testing out this engine out. If Proton is already testing this out and Mitsubishi holds shares of Proton and ownership of Lotus Proton.

Doesnt the Malaysian car have something identical stuff to Evo e.g the engine

Can you imagine the forces that would be require on those bearing and those weird looking cam thingy's? i dunno....I think we have to get the hydrogen engines moving, they will be able to pump out as much power as combustion engines with some r&d.
