I recently purchased GeForce FX 5500 AGP, I have Windows XP Home addition.. I followed the instructions that came with the card. But when I came across the part where I needed to download the latest drivers I would get a message that it didn’t pass the logo test, and I didn’t get a message to ignore it(I am the admen). It then would give me the message that the installation was complete. I didn’t think much of it until I when into my properties from right clicking my desktop, going into settings and I noticed that there was nothing after, Display: .
Also when I open-end a game, and looked at its "Easy Info" it said I needed at least 128 virtual memory, and that I had 0.0. I was unable to find an answer at the company support site, and so now I seek an answer here. Thanks in advance. ![]()

When you boot up for the first time with the video card, Windows installs a driver. When you install the drivers that you downloaded from nvidia.com or the ones that came with your card, they may have that windows logo did not pass thing bla, bla, bla. You should just click the continue anyways button. There are nvidia drivers with the microsoft thing certified which prevents that message from coming up. Go to guru3d.com and look for drivers that are for your OS, video card and make sure they are WHQL certified.
