Cat-back = pipe running from cat to muffler

Turbo-back = pipe running from turbo to muffler

just like the name implies: Catbacks are exhaust systems sold from the catalytic converter to the exhaust tip/ Turbo-backs are from the turbo-outlet to the exhaust tip usually replacing the catalytic converter:thumb:
