ya imma go for it and buy the t3/t4 hybrid, how much bigger is it than a K04???

i got OWNED:banghead: last night by a SRT-4, it was modded but it ran away from me like i was sitting still. i got a REVO chip,turbo back exhaust,DV,CAI,J valve,4 bar FPR, and iridium plugs and got walked on and i am now !!!!

so Big Turbo it is, wish me luck and my rods luck as i GO BIG!!

i wouldnt get a k04, they make alot of torque but they lack alot of power up top.

settle down fiends ok so anyways, your saying in plain english that if he upgrades to a t3/t4 turbo with upgraded piping and a front mount he can run up to 300hp and be safe, probably especially since his head and pistons are nearly new? :thumb:

yes alot of people have run 300whp on stock internals, but everyset up is different, there is always gona be a chance of things brakes. i would keep it around 280 whp for a while to be safe

that's cool, i guess my buddy found that the block, the pistons, and the crank are all forged but THE RODS AREN'T?!?! What the hell was VW thinking on that one? I would think that if you were going to forge everything else you would forge the rods! Anyone know anything about this? Is this reliable info and if so what would it cost and who would you recommend for forged rods?
