my car idles like shit, especially when its hot outside and i want to rule out vacuum hose leak as the cause.

get some intake cleaner and spray it all over where vacume hoses are, if the idle changes start to look there. ether works too.

Just keep the liquid dripping the heck away from the exhaust manifold.
