The M30 was pretty much its own animal. It shares a few parts with the Sentra and Stanza if I recall.
If you are looking for parts that interchange with the skyline, look at the S13 and Z32. You will be surprised at how many parts interchange.

i seen one of them (M30) at an auction and was kinda curious about it, i think it would make a good sleeper

The m30 was basically the same car as the r31 skyline. The suspension is exactly the same. The rear end will take 280zx parts. It has the vg30e, same motor as the z31 300zx.
