Idle Problem still there...

Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. I dont think a stuck thermostat would affect the idle, although it would cause the car not to warm up until the cooling fans are required. Sounds like you just need a scanner to look at the actual sensor values but you probably cant get acces to one without going to a shop. good luck with the rolling idle those can be tricky sometimes.

If the thermostat is STUCK, and the car is not hitting the temp required to go from open loop to closed loop... You already see where i'm going here with this.... However indeed it SHOULDN'T effect idle, but I've seen stranger things happen.

Only if the thermostat is stuck CLOSED. Most will stick OPEN.
