Default ej20tt

ive read on nasioc that the ej20tt (2.0 wrx engine with twin turbos) won't fit a usdm rhd subaru, only LHD JDM. i was wondering what makes it not fit. I know the ej20t is the single turbo with the turbo on the passenger side. My guess is that the turbo is in the way of the steering colum. But how does the LHD cars get it done without a problem.

In the US we drive on the Left side of the car, and right side of hte road, japanese are vice-versa.

No idea on the engine swap, other than that I've been told the ej TT was from a Subaru legacy.

It fits in the RHD model because they designed the right side turbo to clear the steering column on the right side. They then set the left turbo anywhere they wanted because it did not need to clear anything.
