Default Tyres for Skyline

My GF's 1990 GTS Skyline needs some new tyres. It currently has a set of 195/65/15 tyres on it. One tyre shop said that it should be on 205/65/15's but none of the other shops (I rang about 10 in total) didn't mention this.

What do you guys think it should be on?

Look in the door jamb or the owners manual. The stock size is listed there. It really does not make a difference in the 2 sizes that you listed. The 205's are only 10mm wider than the 195's. A stickier rubber 195 will have more traction than a harder compound 205.

I would be much more worrried about the temp and treadwear ratings than the 10mm in width. Talk to your tire dealer to eduacate you on these ratings.
