Well i just bought a LS6 block for the Camaro, and im looking for ideas on what to do to it. N/A? Charger? Turbo? The only thing im set on is AFR 225cc strip heads, Eagle Forged 383 stroker assembly, thunder racing custom grind cam, crane cams gold extruded rocker kit, A4 to Built M6 conversion, 4.11 rear gears and a 12 bolt rear. Hooker long tube headers, and a true dual conversion, Fast LSX 90mm throttle body and manifold, and a 200 shot. But what should i do from there??? You guys tell me (P.S. i am looking to get 500-600 with that set up with no NOS, all engine and stock compression.)

N/A should see in the 500 +at the crank with what you listed. Procharger all the way if you want to blow it (F1R) :thumb: . Alot of these high boost turbo cars arent telling you is some of them can build them cheap but the maintenance involved is where it will catch up on you in the long run. Mike a few other suggestions forget the M6 and 12 bolt. Find a nice 400 turbo with a brake and a nice 10in stall or bigger (BTE) :thumb: . And find you a nice 9 in. 12 Bolts will hold it but they're a pain to work on and overall costs are just a tad more.

That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan; retails for about one hundred nine, ninety-five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. PS. AFR produced 530 to the rear wheels (of a vette though) with the 205cc heads, with the 225cc head and a more radical cam i think 560 is possible.
Heres the dyno chart http://www.airflowresearch.com/dyno/ls1_030804.htm |

Hey Mike, look into some of the new sleeves they have out. Some of the higher boosted cars are running really good head gaskets to where you dont need to alternative a o-ring the block and heads too. Before you make up your mind you might want to check costs in your area for that. I stated 500 + safely just because youll need to fine tune it if your building it yourself. (ei chassis dyno, engine dyno) Something youll defiantly need to look into too its worth it. :thumb: Good Luck

I think 10k or less would fit the bill with a charger (F1R) to be exact. Depends if you do the assembly yourself. I can shoot you a few places to save some money on the same parts youll need. http://www.superchargers4less.com/ when your ready give them guys a call they are by far the cheapest around unless you find one used.

the ls6 block came in most 02 fbodys. Im curious to know what you spent.
cam and heads and exhaust are to good to 11's N/A spray an be 10's with decent suspension from spohn the bottom end in Ls1's are good till 1000hp. The ls1 98-02 was made great from the factory ( pistons ) sounds like you really want to Overbuild it and spend the money on the wrong stuff. unless your looking for 8's and 9's stock compression is 10:1, just remember the lower compression the better a turbo will produce.
