i forget. what do they call it at home depot?
new question, im going to be putting it on my friend taurus, the trunk is carpeted and my understanding is that you have to remove the carpet, apply the stuff, then put the carpet back on. Now, his car's carpet is held down by those cap type this that are on every trunk. We pulled and twisted and we could get it off, we eventually pulled so hard it ripped through the carpet. Does anyone have any suggestions about what do to? |

dude, its a big roll silver aluminum kind of on one side, and tarish on the other, its about 1/6th of an inch thick and maybe 2ft wide and you get like 40ft of it i believe for 48$ canadian
your not supposed to rip through the carpet, loll, the caps are supposed to be popped off with tweezers or something, screwdriver works, if you break em, you can go buy new ones those caps are cheap you can get them also at construction or electric store, as for the carpet i dunno, scrap yard or whatever

i used truck bed liner ( the roll-on/spray-on kind ), works like a charm and is alot easier to do cus you dont have to form fit it, it fits itself....i did two layers and it GREATLY reduced vibration, not to mention it only cost 40 bucks for the gallon bucket, and i still have half the bucket left. i did thr ENTIRE rear of my car. stripped the whole car down to absolutely NOTHING and lined it all. i used the aerosol cans of be liner to get in the areas where i couldnt fit the roller. those cans were only like 6 bucks each.
