drifting... torque vs. rev
i know that RWD and an LSD and susp. are a must, but my main question concerns the amount of power a car should have, or rather where it should be. I just watched the drift bible, and i remember he explained that it's important to keep the car inside the torque band so you won't loose your power and lose the drift. So i'm wondering if a car with plenty of torque available even at lower rpms, like my Eta e30, could have a future in drifting even if it doesn't like revving real high. Or else is it more desireable to have a high revving engine that's willing to be floored to perhaps gain better control with the throttle? If i would ever have to choose between them...
thanks for your time
