I am Thinking about swaping out The V6 engine in a 99-04 mustang LX With and new engine, But I want to know if the Transmission will be able to take a 500+ HP engine. If not what kind of Transmission would be best?

it will take it for a while, but get a tremec tko 600 or a t56.imo

Thanks for the help. but do you think the stock transmission can handle it for a little while...

the tranny can handle it for daily driving without any spirited driving. in short drop a new one in there. I'd suggest a Tremec T56 6-speed. Trust me, you'll love it.
