First thing you have to do is cut the whole front part of the frame and radiator core support. The RB engines are longer than the engine compartment in a Hardbody. We already looked into it. We ended up Turboing the KA instead.
I have a video somewhere, where a guy put a 2JZGTE toyota Supra turbo motor in one. The 2JZ is a little shorter motor than the RB, but I bet he still cut the whole front out to make it fit. The RB's not even close to fitting
If you were to do it... The RB 25 would probably be the easiest as it has the A30 series tranny just like the v6 hardbodies and pathfinders. The tranny mounts and driveshaft look like they will bolt right up.
But the v-6 only came in th Xtra cab and if you have a regular cab, it will be too long.
