yeah, it does, since we're so used to 'Type-R' being abused by so many people.

I live in San diego, what makes you so sure they didnt import them here, a couple of my classmates work at dealerships and they say they import some rides such as CSL M3's, WRC Evos and Sti's NSX type zeros, and a skyline just for disply purposes or in that rare case, somone is willing to pay top dollar to get it stright from them.

:eek3: Ok kid, they are illegal here. They will not pass emissions, or inspection. They can not be imported cause they will be taken by the feds at the dock, and destroyed. They are not imported here and either you pulled that out of your a$$, your friends are idiots, or you and your friends are just ricers, and you are too damn gullible. The thing you just posted had to have been the stupidest, sadest excuse to make up for your ignorance before.

depends on the car and year, manufacturing standards. true they were not available, but some years import may have been possible. also, they would be impounded, not destroyed. My favorite example is the Porsche 959. not enough were made for US crash tests, so they are not street legal. they may be imported for track use only, but will be impounded if on the street.

they werent imported till 2002 end of story, the US would not allow the legalization of them.
