the 'WRX RA' is the stripped out lightwieght scooby that was aimed at rally teams to buy then tune / style to there needs, comes with no electrics, windy windows, no sound proofing, no wings or skirts, light weight panels and glass etc. etc. but also some goodies like a stronger closed deck block, plated diffs, 5th injector, close ratio gearbox.

I was just reading the past posts on this thread about the porsche 959 not being imported over here and how you'll get in big trouble for trying import stuff like that. my dad worked at a autoshop in hawaii in like '88 and his boss got ahold of one of them from somewhere in europe and tried had it shipped over there and when he went to pick it up from the docks the police came and arrested him on the spot the shop where my dad worked was closed down and all the employees were arrested (not my dad though he quit like 3 monthes before) and the owner was put in jail for like 10 years (forgot to mention the car was stolen too)

You can bring ANY CAR into the states so long as its not used on the street, but trailered to tracks. My friend has a 959, which is illegal to street, but can be taken to tracks. You have to import it for that specific purpose.
