i need help/info

hey i have a subaru Sti 07'... and it has full coverage on it but one day in the morning i was going to work and when i turned it on white smoke came out the exhaust... it did that once more when i went to lunch... but then when i went to school later that day it had stopped but the check engine light came ON!... i took it to the dealership and they just getting me PIST because they says its a misfire but dont know wat to fix.... WTF is that?! that bullshit right?! all they do is clear the computer and they say it doesnt miss fire anymore.. but when they gave it back to me one day later it started to miss fire once more and the check engine light came back on!.. they've had it for a week and havent dont shit to it n e more cuz the light doesnt turn on again. i need some help of how i can get that fixed. N e one got n e ideas? plz help

if its still under warranty, the dealer should fix the problem

if you go start putting aftermarket parts on, they could say that you caused the problem by installing those parts, so i would get it resovled before you start adding performance parts, some dealers are funny about that stuff

maybe go ask a service advisor from another subaru dealership if adding aftermarket parts will void your warranty

well the thing is i havent added shit to the car... its still all stock... and its miss firing and.. only running on 3 cylinders.. but they say that the car is running fine... WHEN they only clear the ****en computer... thats bullshit

i would try another dealer and if that doesnt help, call subaru's customer service line

i used to be a service advisor at a Chevy dealership and when people called that 1-800 # at chevy, our service manager would kiss that customer's ass untill their problems were resolved and he had to report back to someone at Chevy corporate to let them know how it went

oh alright thnx... i mean why cant they just switch everything that makes it miss fire... it can be like the coil or spark plug... or the valves... that would be my guess..

Just keep in mind plugs and wires aren't covered. But they are the likely culprit.

do you have a laptop? or next time it throws a CEL, hit autozone and have them pull the code.

yea my friend kody had a simialar problem with it haha we found out later he ran a 12.6 on 3 cylinders haha but yea thats while i will never buy a suby there bad ass and fast but shit dude... look at all the problems
