Here

I used to like the way that front end looked till I saw it in use and with that look it seems like it should be lower to the ground

just doesnt look good as a rally car which makes me sad :mecry:

I think the evo is better looking and now it deff is by far. But i would still take the subie over an evo. More displacement, unique sound, more functionality. Advantage scooby.

That thing is hideous. The previous model looked better. I was glad they got away from the bug eye lights but now they did something worse! I always liked the Evo's, and now I perfer them even more.

man the new one is sexyyyyyyy. i drove by the dealership and saw a blue one parking out in the front. and it just looks mean as hell

its nice it looks like the alpha romeo look.... you cant say you dont like it cus it hasnt grown on you yet...that goes for anycar..and you cant say you like the evo more becuase there has been no big changes on the new model soo you cant compare it to the new sti... plus the evos are already done with their changes since they already perfected their motor to its max and then you got the wrx which is still changing dramatically with new improvements.... i give the company 5-10 years and that wrx will overpower the evo in all characteristics by the time the car is perfected....

Wow... are you misinformed. There is a new evo IX coming out in november. It will have a revised interior and front fascia (the new rear bumper cover is for Japan only due to crash test regulations in the US)as well as mivec (mitsu's version of variable valve timing). New wheels are also available on the non mr models.

So, new looks and more tq and hp... sounds different to me.

wow ur right...what a great inhancement and achievement they made from the older version.... lol, did you ever see the test version they had comparing the new sti to the 2005 model? thats achievement...

i dont mind them. new tech stuff too. the WRX and WRX sports wagon has the EJ25 in it now (2.5L) and a VVT system (varialble valve timing) larger brakes. the have 235 HP and 257 TQ rather than 227 HP and like 220 TQ..the STi has a DCCD( driver controled center differntial) like the 22B i guess. i duno if its the same system but same principal. and the 2.5RS has some new goodies too.
