The safari was great, pity its no longer in the WRC. I think it was the only world rally championship event that was won by a Gr. N car (a FWD Renault 5 Turbo), so devastating it was in every year there was a 50% plus retirement rate during the event.
And it was so long an crossed so many diferent places and local tribes lands, that in one time, it crossed thru a tribe that was know to be agressive , so in the roadbook it was written in the front cover in capital letters - "If you run over someone, dont stop! Keep on going and call the cops!"  Great post Ramirez!

Thanks, NDA. I've seen that one. Its definitely one of my all time favourites. I love Joginder Singh coming through that friggin lake with his colt lancer. What a great shot
