This beast has a lancruiser HD80 turbo engine in it. It knocks the pants off any evo or WRX for miles around. all you can say when it passes by and the wind almost knocks you over is "F-in A!"

1) its a dam race truck
2) that truck has more engine room and a WAY bigger engine
and 3)Thats not road legal so try comparing apples to apples before u knock on Evo's my friend

I'm not knocking on evos. I love evos to death!
Let me explain...
The whole reason this guy drives this thing is to give himself a challenge. He gets a considerable time penalty every stage he competes on. Therefore, he has to try to drive extra fast to win. He doesn't have an advantage on every surface or stage. Some of the more twisty stages are harder for the hilux than for an evo or WRX. So its not like he has an unfair advantage. Nor does he win every rally. In fact, I dont think he has at all this year. But I just get excited to watch him fly past faster than anyone else. I'm merely showing my love for the sport, the vehicle and the driver...
