I just discovered this site yesterday, and I'm amazed at how many videos there are up here. This is a really awesome site. I was wondering if anyone knew of any videos of some SCCA ProRally action. Especially some video of last year's Open-Class factory EvoVIII's. While I follow the WRC as best I can, the only actual rallying I get to see in Minnesota is ProRally. Thanks

Yeah, or hearing the backfire system coming through the woods ( getting louder and louder) to keep the turbo spooled, and smelling the race gas as they go by you.
Hey Big Morgan have you been to the one up in Bemidji. I have gone hte past 2 years I have some video of the first year but no was right now to put it on the site. If you havent been up there I highly sugest you going it is so F'n fun. and do some vollenteer work cause you get a free rally T-shirt and get to see more behind the scenes stuff han just being a spectator. I actually have video of me crashing my car on one of the stages the first year we went up there. |

Yeah, I've been to the one in Bemidji. It's the only rallying I've seen first-hand. Now that they're trying to control the spectators so much, you really have to volunteer to get a good look. Hopefully I'll be able to make it up there and lend a hand later this summer.

i'm gonna be there, camping in Paul Bunyan State Forest, right in the midst of the race. if they use the same route as they did two years ago my campsite will be almost at the start of stage one (or at least the first real stage after the stupid super special at the ranch). last year the route was different 'cause there was a giant sinkhole in the road about a quarter mile before the usual start of the stage, keeping the drivers from getting to the usual start. i just hope they let us spectators see Chad's Jump up close like they did two years ago, the first time i went.

yeah you do that. well after my plans fell through at the last min. we were just not going to go. well my girlfriends parents came home and let us use their truck and we wnt up there and made it right b4 the 1st stage. but we had nowhere to sleep so we slept in the truck which wasnt that bad. but at least we went. all this would have been avoided if my car was actually done but oh well. Also got a bunch of cool stuff like rally decals and a shirt from a guy who I talked to last year, he just moved up into open, he was doing pretty good untill late sat. when he went off the road.
Another guy had to get air lifted to the hospital from his crash, but the funny thing was he crashed at teh same spot I crashed at 2 years ago. he had a broken leg and pelvis. hey bear66 where R U from. I was also thinking about going up to superior. the only bad thing that happened was I spent a bunch of money that I could have put into my car, and we got a flat tire from a sharp rock. |

I've been involved in organising and setting it up the past few years and have been lucky enought to drive most of the stages at speed...what a blast
