The car has a dog box, so you can actually do clutchless changes both up and down. He only needs to stab the clutch on the up changes to break the load and allow him to change gears. You have to change quickly with a dog box or else it will baulk and grind.

He doesn't need to use the clutch on down changes as he lifts off the throttle which breaks the load.

The clutchless down changes also let him keep his left foot on the brake to change the attitude of the car if needed.

seriously, nothing beats rally finland.
Imagine your car being in the air for the length of 3/4 of a soccer field. No exaggerations. They put up markers after the jump to measure how far they went. Its amazing.
One day, I'm going to Jyvaskyla when the rally is in town. Oh what a day it'll be.

Yeah, I was gonna say just that. This year there were amazing jumps, most of the co-driver even suferer back injuries, and at least one had to quit. I it was Solberg who did a jump at 160Km/h plus. I dont know if anyone posted vids of the rally, if dont I find some.

Thts gonna be hard: North-America doesnt receive any WRC event, rally isnt very popular, and most of the brands and models are for EU markets, so its very hard. But it would be great, cuz we need more NorthAmericans racing in Europe to make things more interesting.

We do have one event in North America and it is in Mexico just remember that and one rally over in New York is trying to get FIA Certified and also Olympus Rally here in the NW is back under the original name and from what I have heard have had FIA Scrutineers out at the event the last few years

oh and next rally coming up is Oregon Trail Pro Rally on April 21st-23rd I can't wait last year we even had Stig Blumqvist in the lineup and it was his first rally over here since the 80's! It was a blast

as for the Richard siblings they have been in PWRC in a few events over the years and there have been a few other teams from North America running Group N cars in PWRC over the last few years

oh and for the OTPR the link to the info page is www.oregontrailrally.com enjoy
