Ari Vatanen's amazing record-breaking run at the 1988 Pikes Peak Hill Climb, driving the four wheel drive, four wheel steer, turbocharged Peugeot 405 T16.

there's an earlier vid similar to this http://www.rallyesportclub.it/common...s/205pikes.asf floating around, but longer and in english and with Malcolm Wilson in the RS200, Rohrl in the Audi, and Ari in the 205t16.
I have it on disk. If I can't track it down on the net I well see if I can upload it to somewhere. ![]() |

Ok. Here is a link to the footage of Ari & Walter battling it out on Pikes Peak in 1987, BEFORE climb dance was made. I couldn't find the original link so I uploaded it to here
http://tv.isg.si/site/ftpaccess/trru...Pikes.Peak.avi :loser1: Features 205T16, Quattro S1, brief showing by Wilson in an RS200, a Lancia S4, MG Metro, a helicopter engined buggy, and others. The quality isn't that good, but it's the only copy I have. It's the perfect companion to the Cimb Dance vid, don't you think? |

Sorry, I just thought everyone would "right-click" on the link and choose "download linked file" or "download to disk" or whatever their browsers do.
But you are right, direct linking doesn't work. I didn't even think of doing that, but I did try right-clicking on the link and that works. |
