yea i liked doing vectors/toons back in the da


the camaro, M5, and evo (orange not red) in my above post were all done with the lasso tool believe it or not


the red evo IX was done with the pen tool


pen tool owns, you will get the cleaniest curves, and it is waaay faster than lasso'n the entire car.

Im sure there is some kind of tutorial out there, but i pretty much just taught myself.
And with vectors, i make a shit load of layers, the file for the red evo IX is over 185mb's hahaha
Each section has its own layer, then the shadows have their own layer for each section, then the carbon fiber, etc.


what dont you get about the pen tool? ill try and help you

yeah the pen tool is pretty easy once you get it down, i dont use the lasso anymore
