Evo IX vector

Started this a while ago, lost interest after the .psd nearly blew up my comp after opening it up or saving hahaha

Now that I have a comp that can actually handle it, open it in seconds, and save with no prob i think ill finish it or atleast try to

the file alone is over 170MB's and took a while to get it where it is right now

still a w.i.p so i welcome criticism or any pointers yall want to toss my way


here is the outline....done all by the line tool and worked wonderfully

here it is with some silver paint, no cf yet

now here it is painted orange as a base color because the ease of seeing what part that have or have not been painted yet...cf added

update, cf door handles, grey...started base of the rear lights


things to do:
do the tail lights
do the interior/windows
do the rims
possibly a background with shading where needed
few other little details here and there to piece it all together

then last decide on a paint color that will give it a clean look, i tried black but it didnt give the vector look i wanted i.e. the black body outline





UPDATE: A few random color options i did for a test pretty much and for suggestions

different types of blue



red....FTW?

i think this is gonna be the final color, and here is the basic of the taillights, a little more details will be added to them soon but i like it alot right now

pretty much the same thing as the pic right above, just slightly more minor details with the tail lights, probally have to view at original size to see most of them but youll get the point...also painted in the windows and few other things grey real fast to see how it would look kinda finished

started the rear rim, has a red lip as you can tell, looking good so far...might do the front rim before i do the tires

finished the overall design of the rims, as some already guessed, they are volks ce28's, also got the tires and on there, still need to fix them a bit tho imo

as far as i can tell, each panel/section is painted individually...the cf parts are two layers each
