Default honda & nissian can they work together

I have a 2004 nissian maxima gauge cluster and tried to fit it in my 92 civic. It didn't work I got some of the lights to work like the turn signals, trunk, doors, but everything that I needed didn't come up. So I was wondering if anybody ever mixed the two and got everthing they needed to work?

No. they are going to different data signal types for the guages. You may get the fuel and other smaller gauges to work, but the tach and speedo are going to be different.

no I don't have a bunch of unnessary things in the car everything i have is for a reason. I liked the big tach at first, but I don't look at it anymore it do more harm than good. I'm selling both of them.
