does longer intake runners really increase torque,,,,, if so how????

Yes. Increases the velocity of the air coming into the motor at lower rpm's

that is correct...

similar to the venturi effect.. the velocity of the air is increased with an increased runner...

What Z do you have? And what pathfinder are you taking it from? Just trying to get an idea of what your doing.

i got the 86 turbo rare edition,, and i got the manifold from a 92 pathfinder,, i have pics of the car but i dont know how to post them
