Can anyone tell me what the best and cheapest mods a person can put on their car for performance? So far, I only have a cold air induction system. Is getting a turbo better then getting little mods such as cam kits and the such, or is it the other way around?

ooo first of all i wouldnt trade up to a 2006 quite yet. i dunno maybe its my own parania in hand but i believe that car company's rush things and the first couple years they have issues... the new srt4 being a good example of that. i would stick with the car you have untill mitsubishi has had a few hundred out their and htey have worked out the bugs. better someone else find them then you.
on the original question. i would recommend intake then exhaust then header, and somewhere in the mix add some nicer plugs. after that maybe go for some more aggressive cams and look into just lighting up ur drivetrain with a new flywheel clutch assembly. with that you will have a fast and reliable car. with adding a turbo it is a easy fix for a lack of hp. but you are having to put in a lot of work and money into and if you arent planning on keeping the car for long dont do it. it'll be a waste. it makes a car harder to sell in my book. actually in my book i wont buy a car that has a aftermaket turbo on it with out more info on the how it was insalled aka no driveway turbo installs for me i dont trust em what so ever. but its ur car but little things add up alot more then one big thing ![]()
