i used to have a JDM h22a out of the type s prelude. uhh the motor i guess seems as if they have throughly gone through it and made sure its in working order...but once again they are only pictures i am not a big fan of ebay when buying big things like a motor but if they are willing to warranty the motor for atleast a partial time amount you might as well. and the motors are amazing they are more bawlsy then you would think. it is the biggest 4 cyl. motor that they make untill the tsx came out that has vtec. the heads on the motor are extremely well built and can with stand great amounts of pressure. the block though needs some work only if you are going to be using a lot of boost but i have seen a 17 psi boosted h22 on all stock parts run perfectly fine.

hah good luck if he is planning on putting a 302 in a prelude...

plus it would be way to powerfull for such a small car... maybe if u put a 302 in a nsx then you'd have one hell of a car

its kinda of funny but i raced a 4th gen lude couple weeks ago. It had a JDM H22 in it and same type of mods that i have. We raced like 3-4 times and i kept up with it. LoL He was all like "damn that thing is fast!" I was like "its only a H23" I beat a mustang GT two days ago. Kinda of proud of that hehe. Anewayz... i want to have an all motor engine so... an H23 isnt the way to go. H22 here i come!

That reminds me, I raced an H22 prelude the other night, when my and my friends went out. I totally got that race in my hand. Well, of course, i have a v6 eclipse against a 4 cylinder h22. But i thought that since the prelude is lighter with 200 hp under it's hood, it should be able to keep up with me. I ran stock also with only a cold air induction system. He has one too, but it was kool. I took on a trans am after that, we were even for a while, then it pulled ahead of me. That trans ams got a cat back performance system with it. LOL, it was a killer night..!!

Are you sure they were really giving it to their cars? Because my first car (STOCK 2000 Civic SiR [Si in the US]) ran neck on neck with an H23 Prelude. And it would be utterly destroyed by those cars.

atts sucks donkey **** ... swap out for lsd...but if u arent gonna do anything serious atts is fine

btw i think if i remember correctly its automatic torque transfer system or something i dunno

oh yeah sorry dude ur car probly did beat those cars but you also have to put in driver intelligence into a race factor. you can have the fastest car in teh world but if he cant get a good take off or shift fast enough you are gonna whoop his ass in a civic.

i dunno atts (ACTIVE Torque Transfer System i looked into it more) is just honda's LSD its not quite as good as most aftermarket but if you were to totally remove it would well be unwise to say the least unless you are going to upgrade it keep it.

its not really a LSD. When your just driving around it doesnt do anything but when your in a corner it sends more power to the outside wheel so you can turn faster. It weighs like 90lbs and decreases the overall power of the engine. Im just going to bolt a base model tranny to it and replace the atts with the intermediate shaft mount. Should check out www.honda-tech.com some pretty usefull stuff there.
