and that RB engine has 120 000 miles on it. so I don't think I will be purchasing it from them.
What do you mean "that" motor. They usually have 8 or 10 in stock. 120,000 on a Nissan isn't much anyway. Our parts getting track has 380,000 and has never had ANYTHING done to it except a timing chain and an A/C compressor.

You need to be more specific in your front end question. What car are you putting it on? Which S13 front end? There are 4 different ones. Which S14, there are 2 differnt ones. And I have never seen a S13 to S14 front conversion kit. It would have to be custom made. Also you need to decide if you want fiberglass fenders and front bumper or original and if you want metqal or carbon hood. Or carbon fenders for that matter. If you put an S14 or S15 front on an S13, you will need a S14 core support welded into your car.

To many variable to tell you a price. Stock S13 silvia frront on a S13 = $750 to $1000. Carbon fiber S15 cenders and hood with fiberglass bumper on an S13, you will probably spend $3000+. hell I've seen just the S15 lights go for as much as $1000.

(1)Price of RB25 from R34 more than R33 RB25 and no more hp!
(2)RB25 tranny DIFFICULT fit in 89-94 240sx!
(3)totally different wiring architecture!
(4)RB25 tranny DIFFICULT fit in 89-94 240sx!
(5)If modded, stock ECU will not compensate well. Stand alone fuel management needed.
(6)RB25 tranny DIFFICULT fit in 89-94 240sx! oh and ...
RB25 tranny DIFFICULT fit in 89-94 240sx

Will also need to get driveshaft made for 240sx on rear and RB25/300zx on front.

Again. I strongly suggest an RB20. Revs happier, can make just as much power (at higher rpm ) fits EASILY and costs HALF as much as a 25. And you dont have to get a driveshaft made. Stock one fits! I have no clue why you would even think about considering a RB25. Just look on here on RB25 tuning troubles...http://forums.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/. The ECU in them does not respond well to mods and is NOT tunable.

Default rb20

If i were to get an rb 20 into 91 240 is it a straight fit or does it require any fabrication and if what tools does it need to modify( i recall you talking about the transmission tunnel is modified to fit)

yeah go with the rb20 revs much higher than the rb25 its much better than the sr, ive heard really good things about the rb20, not sure about the tunnel but pounding it out a bit wouldnt be a bad idea just incase for proper fitment for the tranny, and u will have a lot more room to drop it in. but if u ever go with a s-14 id say rb25 yeah its gunna cost more but in the end u will love the power and by the way wiring an rb25det to a kade is not that hard me and my buddy did it all in about 2 hours with nice soldered wires

To fit the RB20 into S13 requires no mods to fit tranny. It has the same tranny familt as thge KA and SR.

Wiring the RB25 into a S14 is cake. Wiring it into an S13 is more difficult. The RB20 fits easily into the S13, the RB25 fits more easily into the S14.

Well I have a S14 and what i can tell for high mileage is about 200,000+. So if it has mileage over that i wouldn't say no but i would be a really concerned about it. i hope this helps.

On top is a HKS EVC-I boost controller On the bottom is an old school Apexi SAF-C that is not hooked up anymore, just filling the hole. On the left is a hole for a guage, but I filled it with the Nissan Emblem from the steering wheel on an Altima. It just snapped right in and I never took it out. I dont have a guage small enough to fill the hole anyway

I have heard that the "Race on" stuff does not fit well. I have not ever worked with any myself.

Worth it? You would have to ask yourself that. To me? No! It doesn't come with the headlights, blinkers, or harnesses for them. For that price you could probably buy a real front end with all the parts and a stock bumper. I dont like to use fiberglass fenders or hoods. They just dont hold up well. That is why, when I did my Skyline front end conversion, I did it all in METAL! Metal hood and fenders and a factory urethane front bumper. They are much sturdier than fiberglass. And I have never seen any fiberglass parts fit worth a damn, unless they were VERY expensive.

If you want to make a custom front like that, I would suggest looking on Ebay for a set of S14 kouki fenders and buying the hood (carbon if you like) and custom front bumper seperately.
