HKS, hope you have A LOT of $$$ for a down payment. For every $1000 you put down, it will only lower your monthly payment by like $18. So, If you put $5000 down on a 30k car, you will be looking at financing 24,910 + taxes, tags etc.....26k+ car for 5-6 years through a bank that is going to be picky as hell w/ you and your age given the economic situation......plan on having a 10% + interest rate. All in all, I bet you will have a $500+ per month car payment.

BUT...I would agree with the others and say whatever will sound the most stealth on your car would be the way to go. Gotta look stealth and sound stealth IMO if thats what you are going for

$500+ then insurance. ( claimed no help) good luck.
dream cars are that dreams. wish the best for you joey. but don't be mad when insurance says fuk you. that is even alot for most folks. Huge responsibility.

Yeah, I'm 33 yrs old, married, no wrecks ever or speeding tickets in the last 4 years and I have full coverage on my Camaro which is paid off........and......I pay $70 per month.

You, 20 Yrs. old on a pocket rocket car w/ a high Insurance rating......My best guess on full coverage since you will have a loan out on it would be about $ 165 per month.

who cares, he might just be to wrapped up in the thought of the car to consider ALL the potential budget busters. Just helping a young guy out.

I think hell be fine, the guys hell bent on getting this car. Hes taken the right steps financially to get one. Why not reward yourself.

yeah......well, I guess if you might still be living at home and don't have any other monthly bill, then yeah, I guess it would only take a 25-28K job per year then.

I personally define "good" income as in demographic areas, I mean I make 56k and for my area that is good, but for somewhere like New york that would be shit money.
