Default Carbon Fiber Evo 9 Hood.

Does anybody know what a carbon fiber evo hood weighs? Compared to the stock one? I have heard that it along with the trunk adds weight. Just wondering since I don't want to spend 600 bucks too add weight. Thanks.

Depends on what hood you are looking at because some hoods are just a fiberglass skeleton with a carbon fiber skin.

I was probably just going to go with vis. But if it's not a big difference then I wont bother. I'll just spend the money on more go fast parts. I really only want to change to the JDM bumper. Thats it for the outside.

JDM rear bumper is = sexiest exterior 'mod' for evos imo

only thing is, if you want to get a modded exhaust, you have to get the exhaust piping made custom or it will hit and burn your bumper

ricers . For some reason there seems to be no weight numbers out there for the VIS hood. IMO the money would be better spent on some go fast goodies

There is no rice here. If I had nothing but money I would have a fleet of different cars. Like a new ZR1. And a supercharged Ranger Rover Sport, and GT-R, and like list goes on and on. But I work with what I got!
