Default 22r Toyota Carburetor Turbo conversion

This has been an on going thread in the video forum so I decided to start a new thread.
The Basics:
Took my 22r engine in my 82' truck
UPGRADES before turbo:
Comp cams cam
Holley Carb conversion
Headers and 2 1/4" exhaust
Milled head and some valve work
Muti-spark ignition
Around 130hp and 150lb torque
THEN:
Rebulit me enigne and lowered the compression from 9.5 to 9.0.
Bought my friends twin turbos off his 95' Toyota Supra and picked the best condition one.(1st stage, smaller compressor wheel turbo)
Using my stock headers and like 4 U-bends(2 1/4"), I made a exhaust manifold for the turbo with the addition of a plate. I made adapter plates and welded everything my self for all of the exhaust including the down pipe and mounting plates. I used 3" aluminized muffler pipe for the intake without an intercooler. I bought a turonetics carb air box from summit racing and mated them together. I tee'd off the oil sending unit feed and used a 40" tranmission line to feed the turbo with oil. I had a custom milled plate made for the oil feed and return lines to weld to. The return line is an alloy-metal hydralic line that I torched off an 80's Austen Western Grader that connects to the oil pan. As far as the water lins go, they connect before and after the heater circut. And Finally, I used a used HKS blow off valve from my friends supra with a purple valve.

Sorry for all of you that I led to believe it to be done sooner then I'd expected but I keep running into some problems. I thought I was going to have the engine done this weekend but I ran into some major problems.
When I went to start the truck and test it all we found that I had a small crack in one of my welds on the oil return line( a small drip). But we went ahead and tested everything on the jacks(Had the front end apart to take out the oil pan) Just reving the engine to around 4000-4500rpm we were boosting 6 psi. But of course we had to shut it down because of the leak. As soon as I fix it, I will test it a little more and dial it in. Then I might make a few track runs and maybe a dyno run.
Projected boost is 12psi and 300rwhp though i might not run it that high all the time. Maybe like 8-10.

I will get pictures up as soon as everything is done. I hope you guys enjoyed this. And by the way i did everything thing on the truck 100% by myself except the oil and water lines which my dad hepled me on. AND I am 17......yes its true.

Heres the pictures: These are before water lines and the BOV were connected.

They also show my two major problems, oil leak and intake braking with bad welds. The intake is fixed and the oil pan will be fixed probably tommorrow.

Just with sitting on the stands in no gears, I got 11 psi@ around 7500 before I quickly let off the throttle so I wouldnt hurt my engine. I retarded the timing 2 degrees and tested it with the oil leak(minor drip)

Default It Works!!!

yes, i does. I tested it out tonight for the first time. I have several small things to fix before Im done but I am getting around 8psi in first and 11 in second and 12psi in third. Forth HAVE NOT TRIED AND PROBABLY WONT UNTIL ON THE TRACK. Woops, caps loc. Sorry. I am just really happy. When I am completely finished, I will post a couple of new pictures and probably a track run. The video probably wont be until my track opens though because thet dont open until april 7th. :mecry: But it will give me some time to fix and test and tune everything perfect. Just an update.
