i just talked to the guy im buying the kit from puttin a 2 grand down payment should be on by spring time ill post pics of the install and progress. oh and its a aps twin turbo kit should put me at 430-500 rwhp

K&N filter with modified lid, 52mm TB, ported plenum, Edelbrock High Flo runners, Lingenfelter manifold, ported aluminum heads, Custom grind camshaft by DRM, Roller rockers at 1.5, High flow stainless valves, high perf springs, chrome moly rods, high volume fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, MSD ignition, LT ceramic coated headers, full stainless exhaust out straight pipes, All that and it still won't beat an LS1.

What else are you going to the motor. I have heard some bad things about when you go that high in hp on the stock motor.

the engine can hold 550 with stock internals so im not doing anything else to the motor... i guess if and when i ever get bored of the set up ill get stage3 heads built internals and cams then after that bigger turbos

I have read (I think both Stillen and Greddy have said this) that the factory connecting rods "generally fail" when you have over 400 Whp.

i know a bunhca guys that have over 400 and have put plenty of miles on. after the kit alone is gonna put me over 400 and it doesnt say anywhere that you might need internals. but im pretty shure your right over time and gettin its ass kicked the rods fail but ill make shure to be a 100% and ask the shop if im in trouble

I will try to find one of the articles. I think it was either dragsport or sport compact car. There was both a stillen and a greddy (that each company had done themselves) and they both mentioned that.
