yea i know im not doing open heart surgury but i dont have anything to pull my engine out. and your right i really do want to learn how to do this shit but im gonna learn on my friends car hes got a firebird and hes gonna put a 8 in that ***** so im gonna help him out with that. but call me a pussy or whatever but i just dont want to take any chances and plus if it ****s up i got a guarantee at the shop and if i do it myself my guarantee is my dumbass pulling even more money outa my pocket to fix it if it breaks. the summer has started and im outa school and and my dad has me workin construction like a ****ing horse so by the time im done with the build since ill only be doing it on weekends will probably be about 2 or 3 weeks at the earliest.once i get a better job and buy my e30 m3 i will do it that way by my money and my work. but for now this is the only choice i got but thanks for the advice dude

lol your friend is swapping an 8 into a 6, the wiring will be hell :banghead: . i thought about that but it was just to much ****in work, only thing your saving yourself is in the insurance..

I'm just all about saving money and gaining tech. knowledge that's all. And as far as a shop giving you a "gaurantee" on a FI application......sounds like they are the ones blowing smoke up your ass. You might get a 3 month limited coverage.

i just got a call back from grd they are putting the guages in as i type this and the black pearl should be home by tomarrow. my day was kinda crappy but alot brighter after i got that phone call. i was actually kinda scared because they are a little early i thought something might have gone bad but thank god it didnt.

as much as i would LOVE to i need tires the ones i got on are shot gotta check my finances to see if im ready to spend money on tires. i was thinkin about buyin a cheap set of rims and slappin on some drag radials what do you guys think but not now father down the rd but for now im gonna get the same tires on the rims i got right now.but ill def take her up to at least 100 and ill get some vids of the sound and shit
