Congrats and nice set up.

Be wary of power / longevity claims from stock internals (this isnt directed at boosted 350z's - it applies to all cars: supras, camaros, stangs etc). I know more than a few ppl who claimed to run big numbers on their daily driver, stock internalled FI cars, only to find out afterwards that the big number was done at at a dyno session, but that boost had to be turned down for any sort of street longevity. Like when Peter B's supra did his ~900 rwhp record on stock-internal supra, now its popular "internet knowledge" that ALL supra engines can run 900 rwhp on stock internals w/o anyone listing all the caveats (i.e. he did it on race gas, on a dyno for a couple of seconds, perfect tune and that it wouldnt last long on the street in "kill" tune).

Just dont want to see ya pop a motor, man.

2K for an install?? Do the install yourself and then just pay for tuning. Trust me, it's not that damn hard. Do some homework on the subject and find some friends and a garage to do it in. it will save you money to play w/ for other mods.

Yeah, you could at least get some new rods, pistons, and possibly a crank for that kind of money.

what is there to mess up?? It's not like you are bust'n into the internals here, right?? It is a bolt-on application w/ the most complicated part being the tuning process. save your money man, do it yourself and learn some good knowledge in the process and have a good feeling of satisfaction that YOUR hard work and YOUR hard earned money paid off in performance.
