Default Drifting Suspension?

i know that to drift properly you need a good suspension setup, but what i dont know is what makes a good setup?

well for starters you could tell us what car its for.....

*Coilovers*-*strut bars*- *good brakes*-*seat time*-*good power*...are the MUST haves. the settings themselves are up to you, its what you like.

but ill throw out some brands and names that are common and known for making good set-ups.

Tanabe
HKS
RSR
CUSCO
JUN

these comopanies make some of the best street to track coilover and spring kits.

Throwing names out aint gonna do much.

Maybe a reply with something like Strut braces, coilovers and blah blah blah would have been a bit better seeing as his question was "what makes a good setup?"

The main thing, imo, will be to really stiffen the suspension up. Heavy sway/anti roll bars, heavier springs and dampers to match (if u can afford). My car although not to bad for circuit use is to soft for drifting. IF I was to attempt to set it up these are the things I'd be going for. A bit of neg camber is also useful.

here is a GREAT starter for drifting : The drift Bible, with non other than the Drift King himself
he explains all methods of drift, with all types of cars, mid engine, front engine rear wheel drive, high power and low power cars

and he explains exactly WHAT you need/setup to drift properly.
he'll teach your ass to drift just look at the smile he's holding down

enjoy
