the tornado does not move it just makes the air spin, think of it as a fan that dosnt move, so bisicly it aint doin jack shit

it stayes still and DOES NOT spin, so to all this thread was startes as a joke so do not waste your money on the tornado thingy and dont waste your money on higher octane gas unless you car requires it

ANYTHING that you put into the way of the airflow is a resrtiction. The tornado is complete B.S. It has been proven on several different occasions w/ different cars on different dynos. There is/was a vid on street fire of a mustang GT that lost 4 rwhp by installing the tornado. The people who buy those are the same ones that believe that a cold air intake actually gives them the 15-20 rwhp that is advertised.

There was that special on one of those night-time news programs *60 mins type shows from a major broadcast company (NBC, CBS)* that had the 'inventor' of the tornado on there. They tried it a bunch of times, and everytime it failed. They also showed that fuel additive that 'adds platinum' to your fuel.

Both failed miserably, and most vehicles lost more hp than they were quoted to gain.

YEAH, the tornado is total BS. you should do a search on google for "e-ram"
it's an electric supercharger, or just type in electricsupercharger.com, poor mans way of getting maybe 5 or 10 more horses. as for the additives, they are not the best for your car, never use an oil additive especially the ones that say shake well before use, that means it has little flakes on the bottom of the bottle that if not mixed right will clog your filter, also, the ones that say "Polytetrafluoroethylene" (fancy way to say Teflon) will coat the cylinder walls and make your engine run better, if the additive can coat the cylinder walls while a piston ring is moving up and down at say, 4,000 revolutions per minute, what keeps the additive from coating the insides of the oil filter until it clogs?
anyone ever tried 'slick 50', the claims used to be, increases fuel economy, power and life of engine.
back when it first came out a team of experts (can't remember who) tested slick 50 using two GM 4.3 liters, both engines were on test stands, after long use, the engine without slick 50 was your usual 4.3, the engine with slick 50 did gain hp, fuel economy did go up. but, the iron content in the oil had gone up, which meant the engine was breaking down. this was caused by slick 50! get some
