Greddy specII manual boost controller $300 Upgrade from the stock wastegate $200 Cold air induction $150 ish That would give you a health starting point, but 350 whp isn't cheap for an MR2, ya gotta pay to play. Good luck.

The combination for 350 whp is not going to be cheap... You are looking at all the basic boltons plus upgraded turbo and fuel system. Then you have to think about stuff like a new clutch and suspension to put the power down. If you dont do your own work, expect to double your budget.
Its so an overused cliche but yet so valid: "Fast, cheap, reliable - pick two" If its cheap and fast, its not going to be reliable. Reliable and fast? Its not going to be cheap, etc etc. |

from what i see/read, he wants 350 hp on his MR2 but no where does he specify to the ground(ie.. WHP) so 350 is still a lot of horses when the 91 model came with 200 HP (same used in the celica all-trac turbo) usually start with exhaust(TBE), boost controller, Injectors, turbo, fuel pump(preferably walbro 255lph) and a great ECU tune.. that should get you there if not very close to 350 horses....

You are correct - he didnt specify rwhp or flywheel hp, but I generally run under the assumption that most ppl refer to rear wheel hp since few ppl perform engine dynos. Like I said before, the combo will not be a cheap. A complete turbo kit for an MR2 runs for about $3200 USD from places like extreme boost. Walbro pump is about 200. Injectors are about 200. Dyno tuning will cost about 500. There are so many other things you need like gauges to monitor the higher boost, clutch, etc, etc. Dont kid yourself into thinking this game is cheap.
