loookin at buying a mkIII supra and was wondering the stock hp they had or preferably the power the weight ratio thanks

hmmm at a guess 280bhp. thats the max they was allowed in japan by law.

The 2.5tt jz1 has 275 bhp i beleve :thumb:

thanks guys i have a 89 240 coupe w/70000 orig mi and it is mint, so im tryin to decide where to go with this i have pix on the forum already if anyone wants to see or interested in buying

They are nice cars with decent potential, but are kinda portly. Watch for blown head gaskets on any MKIII - it is a very common problem.

Just like LT1 camaro's, they tend to get overshadowed by the performance potential of the newer versions.

Right, metal head gasket/ARP bolts are necessary if you want more boost
