I want to enhance the performance of my 2001 bmw 530i... It is currently running at 225hp and 214 tq. It would be nice to get a little more horses out of the engine. I want to keep the interrior of the car stock therefore, weight reduction is out of the question. I am strickly looking for engine mods. I've been to Dinan BMW but, there aren't too many options for the 530i. I am willing to import performance parts from anywhere in the world. Are there any chips or any other non costly mods that can increase my cars performance. Also, are there any turbos available for the inline 6 bmw engine? Can anyone help me?

introduce yourself, i dont know much about beemers but i think some type of cold air intake would give you like 10-15hp

Firstly, my names Andrew and im 18 (19 in a month)! I live in Montreal (Cnanada). My father just passed me down his 2001 530i BMW. I did find an intake at Dinan BMW and it gives like 11 horses to the engine. Although, I want more then just 236 hp (maybe 250+ *if it's possible). I am also willing to get a couple of parts not just one. If you know any internet sites that sell BMW mods can you please tell me them.

Unfortunatly most newer beamers are every limited when it comes to engine mods but im sure you can find exhaust, intake, and maybe even ecu upgrades on dinans site. Good luck

dinan is your best bet .. but remember that German automobiles are very heavy and if they are non-turbo like the bmw then it is going to be harder to extract as much horsepower as you can for the same amont of money as you can on a turbo(ie.. forced-induction)..
