sup,
im planning on getting a Scion tC within a year or so (im gonna be 16 in the summer) and i was wondering what mods and parts should i get. i got my eyes on a intake (not sure if i should get short ram or cold air), a strut bar, and a intake supercharger as the first few mods. what parts are cheap but can give a good boost in performance (acceleration, suspension, dyno-wise, etc) without spending that much money? are the parts i listed worth $250 - $300 for roughly 30HP and aroudn 40LB or torque? keep in mind im only going to be 16. and i dont even know if i am going to get the car. just planning for the future. and i dont even have a job. :banghead: if i do get the tC, im eventually going to add rims w/ tires, new springs and struts, or maybe even coilovers. im going to add a sound system no doubt and eventually a body kit. but while the car is stock, i want it to be a sleeper. :thumb: thanks for any advice/opinions. |

as an owner of a tC i adives you not to get it. horrible understeer. the worst i've ever driven. it's better to spend your money on suspension and full strut bars. super street has a good running series on tC and i would do it but i'm getting rid of it. if you want a FF get a civic hatch or a new Si. or you can go with a good old fahioned FR. Rx-7 here i come.

wow....
i guess ill have to ride and drive one myself... and the thing about civics is that around here....there's TOO MANY of them...the new ones and the older ones, SIs and regular...way too many, im sick of them...and plus, around here are all nasty...its like they did it themselves...all they got on it is a OVERSIZED WING, half a body kit, half the car is painted and what not because they crash thinking they can race, and a exhaust MUFFLER, not even the whole piping. asian, mexican, black, and even a few white guys try to tune it...its horrible.. |
