Does any one have sounds clips of the purple fin insert for the HKS BOV?

No sound clip, but one of our customers had one and it is VERY LOUD and sqeaky!

I dont know where you heard that! The purple was WAY more high pitched and louder than the gold insert. And yes, I'm sure it's the purple one. I installed it.

o well

im just looking for some clips cuase i dont want the "dog calling" whistle, i just want the air dump sound

but HKS does have there own sound...

hows it sound on ur SR20?

I dont have an SR20... Nor do I have a HKS BOV. It was on a customers car. First it was on a 300ZX (Z31) turbo and then on a 240sx with an RB25DET. But it doesn't make any difference what motor its on. Air escaping through a hole is going to sound like air escaping through a hole, no mater what engine its own. Only thing that makes a difference is the shaape of the hole. Thus why different BOVs have a differnt sound

I have the ssqv. Heres a clip of it on my mk3. It has the one that came with it originally. It's purple so i would assume its the same as the purplpe insert sold individually.
