SUB FRAME CONNECTORS!
![]() If you own a Mustang GT or Cobra you need them bad! I used the MAC round tube connectors and MIG welded them onto my GT and DAMN! They work awsome. You can fell it right away on speed bumps, corners and just driving. My GT is the most solid Mustang (without a cage) I have ever been in. Cuts way down on that 2nd gear torque steer really good. My GT goes strait now when I shift and not sideways. Got rid of alot of those rattles and clanks (i bought my GT brand new and it still mad noises), this cut down most chassis noise (and flex). If you own a performance Mustang YOU NEED THEM BAD! |

If I could have afforded it, my first mod. would be to drop in a Ford 514 SCJ crate motor with a BDS 1071 blower an dual Holleys on it and a bird catcher scoop. Floowed by a custom built X2C T-5 trans, custom Currie Ford 9" rear end (4:10 os corse), D&D four link and K-member, Cusom 10 point cage, 28/14.5/15" MT ET street slicks and some VP in my tank. But I was short a few dollars, so I just got subframe connectors.

After I buy my Viper, Im going to build a Factory Five Shelby Cobra replica with a 514 SCJ crate motor and a BDS 871 or 1071 blower and the double carb and scoop set up. The guys at BDS said they put blowers on that motor all the time (stock crate motor and compression) and they make about 850hp-900hp and about 1000fpt (at the crank). Not bad for the money. That Cobra replica should haul ass! Just imagine that beast sticking out of the hood, people will freak out! And no rollcage! ![]() |
