the fact still stands that the air that your dirtbike is sucking in is cold, the way merek is trying to explain his rc and scooter idea makes no sence to me at all. hotter in combustion chamber cool,hotter air comming into intake not cool. why do you think cars run better in the colder weather? colder air, intercooler to cool the charge..........do you see a pattern here. and for your why would removing the lid lose power, cause it is getting more air then it needs, air/fuel mixture is off.
and sanding down pistons if at all possible{yes i know it is possible but why do it} would create less compression and most motors i know work better with more compression unless boosted and not by means of hair dryer. now i shall return to bashing people cause thats what i do.
